Connect POS runs in a web browser, so a tablet or laptop you already own is enough to start. If you want a full counter, we can supply a tablet, stand, receipt printer, cash drawer and scanner as a one-off purchase.

Pricing questions

Straight answers about cost.

Do the prices include VAGST?

Yes. Every price on this site is in tala and includes VAGST at 15%. Your invoice from Connect IT shows the VAGST amount.

Is there a contract?

No. Plans are month to month, per shop. You can change plans or stop at the end of any month. If you stop, you can export your products, sales and cash-ups first.

Is there a setup fee?

Not for the software. We help you set up over the phone or a video call at no charge. If you would like us to come to your shop, load your products, set up equipment and train your staff, that is a one-off WST 350 in the Apia area. Other areas, including Savaiʻi, are quoted.

Do you charge a percentage of my sales?

No. Connect POS does not process card payments, so there are no transaction fees from us. You pay the monthly plan and any add-ons you choose.

What happens if my business needs TIMS later?

The TIMS add-on is in development and not available until it is accredited. After that, you can add it to any plan if the Ministry for Revenue requires TIMS for your business. The price is WST 49 a month per shop plus WST 250 one-off setup. Until then you do not pay for it. Read about the TIMS add-on.

Is there a free trial?

Not yet. The demo is free, and during setup you can run a practice shop day that never touches your real sales.
